Chardonnay
This Chardonnay has an elegant straw yellow colour in the glass with beautiful golden strokes. Notes of citrus fruit, green apples and melted butter flow from its aroma. In the mouth the wine is experienced as creamy and deliciously full-bodied without being bombastic. The same notes as in the fragrance can be detected in the taste, supplemented with a good balance of sweet and sour. This is a pleasant and harmonious wine, where the oak is well integrated in a long and lingering aftertaste.

Winemaking
From grape
to bottle
The grapes are harvested in the early morning hours in the middle of February. Immediately after being harvested the grapes are brought to the winery where they are destalked and carefully pressed to avoid crushing the seeds. The must is left to rest overnight until the grape marc has filtered away, and is then transferred to stainless steel fermentation tanks. Here the wine undergoes a controlled fermentation at a low temperature of about 18 degrees, a process which typically takes 3-4 weeks. Once fermentation is complete the wine is aged on French oak for 5 months before being bottled and released into the market.
